The game called rounders has been played in England since the past many centuries. As per the historical evidences, it can be concluded that this game was transferred to the United States and the base ball that is played there today is a version of this game.
The fact is that there are many resemblances between baseball and rounders. Both these sports have the same foundation structure. Both these sports have manned bases. The games operate with the throw of ball. After this, you need to hit and then take the runs in order to score points. The game that was called rounders in England was referred to as town ball in the US. This continued till Alexander Cartwright recreated a new sport out of it called the base ball. He is rightly known as the father of modern baseball, a sport that came into existence in the year 1845 in US. There is not a major change in the history of baseball since then except few rules and regulations.
